T4S.Site is now using the new version of Stripe.
I’ve gone through a lot of testing with lots of people, and as I type, no problems can be seen.
Some problems might arise – please do shout immediately. It’s priority #1 if needed.
Other problems, obviously report in the usual manner if you get any. The first thought may be it’s due to the new version of Stripe. It may be, or it may be a red herring. Either way I would like to know “just in case”.
So what’s next? And what’s new?
Right now, it’s operating “as it was” (other than their new checkout page), but there are some potential benefits that we can now add. In addition to the added security for your users.
For example:
- An image on the checkout page
- Quantity (good for tickets, etc)
- Reporting on abandoned checkout page
- Increased accuracy on purchase statistics
- Possible integration with PayPal to match Stripe
- and so on
I’m going to let the dust settle with Stripe. Particularly with their own deadline of the 14th September.
